Our Managing Director – Andrew Mclaughlin helped raise money for Cynthia Spencer Hospice by cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats in 71/2 days (of which 6 days were raining)!
“I will never forget the delight of climbing the Shap. After an already long testing day of cycling we neared the summit and was looking forward to a relaxing decent towards our overnight stop. Unfortunately the feeling of delight was very short lived because when we reached the summit we were greeted by strong head winds with driving horizontal rain and we had to pedal to make our cycles move down hill.
“The most important thing about the week is that the money raised will go to a fantastic organisation. Cynthia Spencer Hospice provides 24/7 care to patients and their families with complex issues as a result of life limiting illness. They admit around 400 in-patients each year and heavily depend on fund raising. Thank you so much to everyone who supported us.”
